Wardrobe Essential: Lace Top

If I have my way, I will fill my closet with conversational pieces.  Helping people to look good is always been a secret mission of mine.  *wink* I wish I can do this for a living.  I think this is one of the reasons why I want to be a Merchandisers - I can control what goes in the market.  :)

Wardrobe Essential: Black Skirt

I can't afford to buy anything at the moment.  It's been 10 months since I last worked.  Yes, 10 months already and my funds are getting really really low.  One of the reasons why I want to learn to make patterns and sew is so I can make myself beautiful dresses and skirts.  I know I can ask tailors to do it for me but I am a bit of control freak myself.  I'd rather be involved in the whole process than be disappointed with bad tailoring.  *wink*  These are the skirts that I am dreaming of at the moment.  I'm sure you feel the same darlings.  :)

TOPSHOP Shoes

There are two shops that I go to for shoes - Zara and TOPSHOP.  Most of Zara shoes are timeless but Topshop shoes are very fashionionable.  I remember going crazy when I went to the Topshop Flagship Store in London.  It was as big(if not bigger) as House of Fraser in Reading.  I dream of someday working for Topshop.  Please God, let me be forever surrounded with good quality clothes and shoes.

These are the clothes that I've been lusting on at the moment.

Look for Less: Shoes

It's been a while since I blogged about high heels. To be honest, I stopped buying the minute I stopped working and started travelling. I wouldn't inflict pain on myself. That't not right. :P I've been around shopping centres most of the time and I've been seeing designer shoes knock offs. Don't ask me why I remember the names or why I know which designer made it, it is simply on my girly genes.

Check this CL knock off from Possibility(the Ramp). It cost a fraction of the original(£879.20).

Christian Louboutin 120 Cutout Boots

The flats:

From Orhelle in Landmark. I wouldn't dare buy this flat. It is very ugly.

From Kamiseta. A pair goes for 1,999 Pesos and it is available in the colours abocve. This is the closest design to the original that I've seen.

Tory Burch Reva Flats. The metallic Reva Flats goes for £190. It used to be much cheaper than that. My friend Trisha introduced me to that design but I never had the urge to buy one. I'd rather go Lanvin or Chanel if I have money to spare but unfortunately, I don't. :P

Another possibility knock off.

KT <3 PD

I love fashion and I love designer pieces. I love supporting local talents. What I love more are designer collaboration with local Filipino brands. I didn't realise that Kate Torralba collaborated with Paper Dolls until I browsed into the stylebible website. I loved KT eversince her first collection. Loved her bold colours and patterned clothes with hint of vintage feel to it.

Tessa Prieto Valdes working the KT x PD collection.

I wonder if this comes in separates cause I have a top similar to that. I just need to buy the long skirt. :P

For my undying love for maxi dresses. Don't you just love the colour and pattern in this dress? I need you for Christmas! :)

Everyone, run to the nearest SM Department stores! I know I will when I get back from my Thailand trip.

Hello Santa Claus: Pattern Making Book

I am taking matters in my own hands with regards to Pattern Making. I want to learn now! I am not happy with the Philippine High Street Market. I almost always find faults on clothes that they sell. They lack casual, printed or patterned clothes. Designer clothes are so expensive. Most people earn third world salary people! I must learn, I must learn, I must learn... Please Santa, send me pattern making books and portable sewing machine. :)

October 7 - PIG OUT DAY

Nothing beats boredom and depression than spending time with the people that you love. I had 2 dates that day. First, with Divine, my elementary friend. We met up at 2:30PM and I couldn't stop eating junk since. We went to Jolibee for our first fastfood fix. I had two meals then, palabok and burger steak. We then went to KFC where I had rice and chicken, had a Frosty from Wendy's and off to Red Ribbon for dessert. I don't know where I put all the food. Must be from not eating much since we haven't got a fridge yet. It is so good to see my friend. We talk so much about what's keeping us busy, her boyfriend, her health condition(she have a rare lymphantic condition. She needs HOUSE!) and the flood. Everyone seems to be talking about the flood these days. It left everyone traumatised. Even I who haven't experienced it first hand has a say about it. Second date was with my friends, Anthon and Don. We went to Gilligan's Island. I've known this guys since Uni. Anthon used to date my cousin but we still kept in touch after the break up. I felt lost during our conversations as he got different sets of friends from mine. He invited me to go to Cubao X with them but my eyes are killing me. I've been wearing the contact lens the whole day. I was happy to see these people and hope to see them again when I return from Thailand. :)

Attack of the Mixed Platter. Yes, I still have the "space" for another meal.
BTW,that's my Randy Ortiz for Plains and Prints top. I wore a Lancome Rouge Lipstick and Dior Black Liner for a dramatic effect. Love it!

Devouring the food. We filos are rice eaters so expect rice everytime we eat. Of course we don't eat rice with pasta. That's stupid.

Classic Group Pic. Don in Yellow and Anthon in Striped Jacket. In his defense, it was cold in the restaurant. He is sporting a full sleeved tatto now but he didn't show me. NEXT TIME!
